Founded in 2008 at the American Literature Association Conference in San Francisco, the Kurt Vonnegut Society is a group of scholars, teachers, and readers dedicated to the academic study of Vonnegut, his life, and works.

In addition to providing scholarly resources and a forum for the exchange of information, we also plan two academic panels at the American Literature Association Conference, where we also hold our annual business meeting.  The 2022 ALA Conference will be in Chicago.  More information will be available soon.

We also frequently co-sponsor panels at other conferences including the annual NeMLA (Northeastern MLA) and SAMLA (South Atlantic MLA) conventions, among others.

If you have information regarding Kurt Vonnegut-related scholarship or activities, we’d love to hear from you.
