See What You Can Do With A LITE Special Instruction Session!
LITE Library instruction sessions are offered to integrate information literacy education into the academic disciplines. A typical presentation integrates social networking and Web 2.0 features (Web2.0 technologies, GoogleDocs, blogs, multimedia presentations) into Library services to enhance and complement teaching and learning or to facilitate academic community on campus. These sessions are open to faculty, students, campus organizations, staff, and Friends of the Library.
Consult the list of LITE Library instruction session topics or request a customized instruction session tailored to meet the needs of your class, office or organization. Please submit the LITE Special Session Request Form below at least two weeks prior to the preferred date of the instruction session. This will allow ample time for reserving an instruction room, designing an appropriate lesson plan, and preparing supporting materials. It may take 24 to 48 hours for you to receive an email confirming your request and to schedule a consultation.
