Study Skills Workshops 201: “Current Awareness”

Social media is an important technological trend that has big implications for how researchers (and people in general) communicate and collaborate. Web 2.0 is rich with tools that can augment coursework, enhance research, or foster collaboration. In this workshop we will look at going digital by building your research toolkit. We will then look at harnessing social bookmarking, RSS and alerts, Twitter, and personalized news readers to have research come to you in an organized and methodical way!
