The STEM grant is a three-year award valued at some $120,000 (tuition, fees, and an annual stipend of $20,000) that allows recipients to pursue their studies in cutting-edge science & technology fields at top Canadian research universities, including McGill and the University of Montréal. The new program is the counterpart to Fulbright’s International Science and Technology award for foreign students coming to the United States.
STEM is the result of a partnership between The Foundation for Educational Exchange between Canada and the United States of America (Fulbright Canada), the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada and six of Canada’s leading research universities. Applicants have until November 15, 2011 to apply.

Thanks for sharing the information about the award. It’s always great to see technology and math getting the respect and attention it deserves.
Thanks for the information. Luckily I am still in time before the Nov. 15th deadline.
