Professor Benjamin Fraser has been named an Associate Editor of Hispania, the refereed journal of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.

The College of Charleston’s and The Citadel’s chapters of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, are proud to announce their 9th annual South Carolina Spanish Teacher of the Year Award for 2013. The three finalists will be recognized and the awardee announced during a ceremony on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 7:00pm in Arnold Hall of the Jewish Studies Center at the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C.  The S.C. Hispanic Leadership Council and the Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Charleston will co-sponsor this event.  Dr. Mark P. Del Mastro is the founding director of this annual program and can be reached at delmastromp@cofc.edu.
