About the Course and the Professor

This is the Blog for Spanish 313 in its online edition. Here you will find lectures, announcements and all type of materials that will guide you in this journey. The activities you will have to do in this blog are:  peer editing compositions in Spanish, leave comments about your fellow student’s compositions and watching movies.

I am Dr. Raúl Carrillo-Arciniega. I was born in Mexico, particularly  in Baja California. I have been in the College since 2005 and in Us since 2000. I have done my Ph.D. in the University of Tennessee, Knoxville  in Romance Languages and Literatures . I am a teacher/writer/scholar. So far I have published three books: one of Literary Criticism entitled  Huellas y oquedades, one novel En la tierra de Op and one more of poetry Nauta herido. Also I have published lots of articles, poems and short stories in US, Mexico, and South America.
