“I can do it at home, so why can’t I do it on stage?”
This class teaches you how to practice performing.
Through unique techniques in physical, mental, and emotional preparation, students will find their rehearsals and performances more focused and consistent, and have an arsenal of techniques to create stronger performances. On the Edge is a course that most performers could benefit from. It covers an area almost totally left out of training in music and would help any performer, teacher or public speaker to become more affective in their chosen field. So much of our training, especially in music is alone and at home. Practicing alone will not always allow a person to get the most out of their work if they suffer from stage fright or attitude problems. This course addresses everything that is in between a performer and being 100 percent of their best. It covers issues that private teachers don’t have time to address and gives the student invaluable practice at doing what they want to do in public, better preparing them for the real world.
