College of Charleston students, alumni and faculty will perform in a free concert Sunday, August 15 at 6:00 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Archdale and Clifford Streets in downtown Charleston.

La Belle Musique, an ensemble which performs music of the 17th and 18th centuries, notably that of women composers, will present the concert featuring music of Isabella Leonarda, Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi and Johann Joachim Quantz.

Performers include College of Charleston students Esther Senft (violin and recorder) and Unusdian Errandonea (cello);  alumnus Javier Orman (violin); and music faculty member Dr. Julia Harlow (harpsichord and organ).
