SGA Launches New Website!

March 14, 2007

Today, the Public Relations Committee, unveiled the new Student Government Association website. “We felt that the students were in need of a new up-to-date website that offers information on Senators and current news that the SGA is making,” said PR Chairperson Katie Lydon. The new website highlights the Senate and House of Representatives, the two main bodies of the SGA. The Senate site features information on upcoming and passed legislation as well as a Meet Your Senator section that offers a more personal view on the elected representatives.

“The site is critical to having that open line of communication between the students and the SGA and then the SGA to the administration,” commented Chairperson Seaton Brown, a member of the PR Committee. The site also includes an Open Discussion forum for students to make their voice heard as well as current information on the upcoming 2007-2008 Elections.
