Sebastian van Delden received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida in 2003. He currently serves as the Interim Dean of the School of Sciences and Mathematics at the College of Charleston. Previously he was the Chair of the Computer Science Department from 2015-2018. Prior to The College of Charleston, Sebastian van Delden was a Department Head at Southeastern Louisiana University, and an associate professor and director of research at the University of South Carolina Upstate. Originally, from a small Dutch island in the Caribbean, called Saba, Sebastian and his wife Elizabeth have two beautiful little girls – Ava and Isabella.
