OSX Instructions

Click on “System Preferences” from the Apple Menu in the upper left corner.

Click on the “Network” icon from the list.

Select Airport from the menu on the left and then select Advanced.

Click the “+” sign to add a Wireless network.

Enter the settings listed below and click on “ADD“, “OK” and then “Apply Now“.

• Network Name: CWWPA
• Security: WPA Enterprise
• User Name: Your Edisto Username (Everything before the @edisto.cofc.edu in your email address.)
• Password:  This is the same as your Edisto Password.

After a few moments, it should try to connect to the network and ask you to verify the security certificate.  Click on the “Show Certificate” button.

It will bring up the certificate that you are being issued.  Click on the “Always Trust” checkbox and under “Trust” ensure that each of the items say “Always Trust“.

Click on “Continue” and it will prompt you for your computers’ administrative password.

Once you have done this, you can close down all the open windows and you should be connected to the CampusWide wireless network.
