Backing up your data

Backing up your data is one of the most important things that you can do.  As computers have gone more mobile, there is more risk of accidental damage or theft and the consequences of not having your data backed up can be severe.  As part of our contract with google, every student can download and install Google Drive on their computer which will give them an easy way to back up the information that is important to them.  Simply make certain to save a copy of your important work to this folder and then it will be accessible anywhere that you have access to a web browser.  Instructions are available to install this on your computer, although you can also use many other products from other companies to do this.  The important thing isn’t what service you use to back up your data, but that it is being backed up regularly.
