Move in weekend was a resounding success for everyone involved.  For those interested, here are the preliminary statistics on how many computers were configured.  Between Student Computing support and Campus Technologies, we had 20 technicians available on both days.

554 students came in requesting help, including some that had to come back due to problems in residence halls or connection questions.  Also, some were missing passwords or had to go get their charger and come back.

Here’s the breakdown on OS types for computers that were successfully configured:

    • 258 running Vista
    • 211 running OSX
    • 58 running XP
    • 4 running Windows 7
    • 4 phones
