All students using Windows should have up-to-date antivirus software. The College has licensed Kaspersky Antivirus; it is not required, but it available to all students who wish to use it.

Kaspersky is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.  Earlier versions of Windows are not supported. Kaspersky is unnecessary on Windows 8 and Windows 10, which have built-in antivirus features.

Before installing Kaspersky or any other antivirus software, be sure to uninstall all other antivirus software. This includes free trials, expired subscriptions, etc. Running two antivirus programs simultaneously can be extremely detrimental to your computer’s performance and reliability.
