• Edisto Email

Never give anyone the password to your account.

If you get an email asking you for this type of information, just delete it.

How to use GMail to check your edisto email account.

Below are the most common problems for edisto account users and their solutions.

    • EmuMail times out when sending a message This is because you are over quota.  You are allocated 40 MB of space, and when you go over that you start to run into problems.  In this case, it can’t write a copy of the message in your sent mail because you are over quota and it just times out.  Your message was sent, it just can’t save a copy of the message so you get an error message.  To solve this problem, first try emptying your trash folder, then go through your other folders and throw away any mail you no longer need.  Once you have done this, you will need to empty the trash again.  (or to throw away mail without saving it to your trash folder first,  go into the ‘Account Info’ menu and uncheck ‘Send deleted messages to the TRASH folder’ option.)
    • I responded to an email asking for my account information and now I can’t get into my account. You responded to an identity thief.  We won’t ever ask you for your password.  If we see you reply to one, we change your password to protect you from what they might do with your account.  Log into cougar trail and reset your password by clicking on ‘Set Cougars Password’.  Make sure you don’t use the same password as before.
    • I forgot my password or I haven’t set up a password yet . You set your edisto password from within Cougar Trail.  Simply log into cougar trail and click on the link in the right hand column labelled ‘Set Cougars Password.’  this will walk you through resetting your edisto password.
