The College of Charleston School of Business is supporting local professionals on their path to career advancement with its upcoming Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Exam Preparation course beginning on Monday, February 6.

Human resource professionals looking to prepare to obtain the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP®) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP®) credential may now register to enroll in the hybrid course that culminates with an in-person practice exam and review session.

According to SHRM, 68% of certified professionals report that their credential was a key factor in receiving a promotion.

The 15-week program combines instructional and test-prep sessions using the SHRM Learning System. The College of Charleston is an approved SHRM Education Partner that provides training with expert guidance, peer discussion and a structured schedule. A SHRM-certified instructor will answer questions, guide interactive discussions, review sample test questions and provide exclusive test-taking tips.
