The College of Charleston is one of the most influential colleges in the state of South Carolina and offers one of the top 15 best online bachelor’s in organizational leadership programs, according to the 2022 edition of Academic Influence Magazine.
The site recently published its 25 Best Online Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership Programs in the country, with the College of Charleston’s Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) program ranking No. 15.
The College ranked No. 4 on their list of public universities in South Carolina, and also as one of the top 25 in the South for engineering degrees.
Academic Influence, which uses a complex system of data collection to determine their rankings, selected the College based on its record of achievements in the BPS program, as well as its unique mixture of people and faculty that provide a positive influence on students.
The mission of the BPS program is to make degree completion a reality for adults who are committed to their education as well as their other personal and professional responsibilities. Primarily an online program, it offers a flexible schedule and learning environment for adults who have strong commitments to the professional world.
“Being recognized validates the quality of our program,” said Michelle Futrell, assistant dean for Professional Studies and Continuing Education. “[It] allows us to expand our reach to students who may not have considered degree completion to be a viable option.”
