New Logistics & Transportation Professional Course to Begin August 26

The Charleston Port and affiliated logistics and transportation companies are seeing positive, double-digit growth with the rebound of our state’s economy.  Demand for jobs related to transportation, logistics, and supply chain management will continue for the next decade.

Professionals interested in learning more about the various aspects of moving goods to and from the Port, and the services affiliated with distribution, logistics and transportation are encouraged to register today for the eight-month course (50 hrs.).  The content covered in the professional course will help to prepare you for job opportunities in these high-demand fields.

The program is offered on Mondays from 7 – 9 p.m., and begins on August 26, 2013 with the last class on April 21, 2014.  All Monday evening courses are taught by industry professionals  at the School of Business Tate Center, Room 207, located at 5 Liberty Street, Charleston, SC .  The cost is $895 per person.
