Adam Smith Week Schedule of Events

The School of Business’ Initiative for Public Choice and Market Process is holding its 3rd annual Adam Smith Week, March 21 – 25, 2011.  The following presentation events are free and open to the public.  Seating is limited. 

Dr. Peter Calcagno, Director of the Initiative for Public Choice & Market Process, Associate Professor of Economics

One of the main attractions of the week will be a viewing of an original copy of Adam Smith’s famed book, An Inquiry into the Causes of the Wealth of Nations, on Tuesday, March 22 during the 3 p.m. event.  The book was acquired last year and is part of the Friends of the Library’s rare book collection.

All events will be held in the Wachovia Auditorium at the School of Business Beatty Center, 5 Liberty Street.
