– RUSS 314: Russian Conversation and Composition (The Russian’s World: Life and Language) will include two parts: one in class and one as a field research and writing project.
The entire program is planned for 29 days, with 4 days in St. Petersburg, 2 in Moscow, 2 in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, which brands itself as the “Third Capital” of Russia. The rest of our time will be spent in Saransk staying at the university dormitory, attending classes, and spending time with Russian peers.
