Dr. Ross earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree at Michigan State University in 1990, majoring in psychology and anthropology. He completed his MA and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (with a minor in Biopsychology) at Wayne State University in 1994. Dr. Ross’ area of specialty is adult clinical neuropsychology. He completed his APA internship at the University of Michigan Hospital and VAMC in Ann Arbor. He also completed a two-year postdoctoral clinical and research fellowship at the Detroit Medical Center. He has been teaching at the College of Charleston since 1997. Dr. Ross teaches coursework in Psychopathology (Abnormal Psychology), Clinical Psychology, and Neuropsychology. His research interests include neuropsychological assessment, theories of frontal lobe functioning, and head injury prevention. He enjoys training volunteer research assistants and sponsoring undergraduate research projects. Dr. Ross is a member of INS (International Neuropsychological Society), NAN (National Academy of Neuropsychology), and SEPA (Southeastern Psychological Association). In his leisure time he enjoys running, mountain biking, camping, fishing, and playing guitar.
