Welcome to my blog!
I’ve been in Charleston since 1997 and am currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at the College of Charleston. I am a social psychologist by training and teach intro, personality, gender, social and social lab classes, as well as occasional classes for the Honors College and the Women’s and Gender Studies Program. In addition I am the academic coordinator for the psychology internship class. My research areas include family unpredictability, parental monitoring, and risk-taking behaviors of college students (including not wearing bicycle helmets and binge drinking).
