Archives For Graduate Students

The COVID-19 Spring 2020 Grading Policy includes a new PS/NS grade option and an extension to the course withdrawal deadline. For more information and FAQ’s please visit COVID-19 Spring 2020 Grading Policy

The deadline for students to withdraw from one or more full term or Express II courses will be extended. Students may withdraw from April 7, 2020 through April 22, 2020 using Banner Self Service.  Students are responsible for clearing all registration holds in order to withdraw from a course. Withdrawing from a course, or even all courses, during this extended withdrawal period will not make you eligible for a tuition refund.

Dear Student,

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), as amended, is a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. In accordance with regulations issued under FERPA, the College of Charleston provides an annual notification to our enrolled students of their rights under FERPA; as well as an explanation of the exceptions under FERPA that allow the College to disclose information from the student’s education record without consent.

This notification is posted at the following link on the website of the Office of the Registrar:  http://registrar.cofc.edu/pdf/FERPA-annual-notification-final-june-2016.pdf

For additional information or for questions concerning the College’s FERPA policy and procedures, please visit this web page http://registrar.cofc.edu/ferpa/index.php or contact the Office of the Registrar directly (email:  registrar@cofc.edu or physical address:  160 Calhoun Street, Lightsey Center, Suite 281).
