As announced in earlier emails from President Hsu, the College of Charleston is offering an extended course withdrawal period.  Students may withdraw from a full-term or Express II course in Banner Self Service from 12:01 am (EST) April 7, 2020 through 11:59 pm (EST) April 22, 2020.  Instructions are included below.

Students who wish to initiate withdrawal from a course are expected to discuss the decision with their instructor and advisor.  Students who withdraw from a course will receive a status indicator of a “W” for the course.  A “W” is not a grade.  It is a non-punitive status indicator which indicates the course was started but not completed.  Withdrawing from a course, or even all courses, during this extended withdrawal period will not make you eligible for a tuition refund.

January 15, 2020 is the last day for full semester course Drop/Add!  It is also the deadline to submit a permission to audit form!

On Thursday, the College experienced intermittent technical disruptions that may have hindered the student course withdrawal process in Self Service Banner.  This issue has since been resolved.  In light of this occurrence, the College is extending the full semester course withdrawal deadline from October 25, 2019 to October 27, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.
