Ask a librarian is a service where one can ask a question without traditionally walking up to the Research desk.  One may ask a librarian a question via online “chat”, email, text messaging or phone. Email a Librarian
The more specific you are with your request, the more comprehensive we will be with the answer. During normal business hours, Monday through Friday, reference librarians typically answer your questions within an hour or two. During the evenings and on weekends, your question may not be addressed until the next regular business day.

Schedule a Research Session
Research consultations are scheduled meetings with a librarian to discuss a research topic, outline a research strategy, assist in finding resources, assist in the use of proper citation style and to learn what is plagiarism and how to avoid it.  Research consultations are scheduled at a time that is convenient for both the researcher and the librarian.  To schedule a research consultation, please visit http://www.cofc.edu/library/find/ask/consultation/index.php
