Southern Conference Baseball Tournament-Greenville, SC
Good Morning Parents!
The College of Charleston Baseball Team invades Greenville, SC and Fluor Field for the 2012 Southern Conference Baseball Tournament to be held May 23-27th. Our boys had a great season finishing as Co-Champions of the Southern Conference with Appalachian State. With the series win against CofC, Appalchian State will be the #1 seed and the College will be the #2 seed. Tournament play begins at 10am on May 23rd at Fluor Field as we take on our cross town rival, The Citadel. While I know it is an early hour, we hope you all and/or your students will join us in the stands as we cheer on the Cougars to a Tournament Championship. Tickets are $10 per session or $25 for an all tournament pass. CofC student tickets are $15 for an all-tournament pass or $6 daily. Stay tuned to the listserv for updates as our Cougs progress through the tournament. I hope to see as many of you Greenville locals at the ball field at some point this weekend. CofC rally towels will be distributed as well. Also, if your student is not a member of the Maroon Mayhem Student Cougar Club, information will be available on how to join! Let’s go Cougs!

Game 2: #3 Elon vs. #6 Georgia Southern 1 p.m.
Game 3: #1 Appalachian State vs. #8 Furman 5 p.m.
Game 4: #4 Samford vs. #5 Western Carolina 8 p.m.
May 24 (Thursday)
Game 5: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2 10 a.m. (CofC would play here if we lost the first game)
Game 6: Loser Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4 1 p.m.
Game 7: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 5 or 8pm (CofC would play here if we won the first game)
Game 8: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4 5/8 p.m.
*If tournament co-host Furman wins Game 3, Game 8 would be played at 5 p.m.
May 25 (Friday)
Game 9: Winner Game 5 vs. Loser Game 7 3 p.m.
Game 10: Winner Game 6 vs. Loser Game 8 7 p.m.
May 26 (Saturday)
