Good morning!

How is your academic reading load this semester? Multiple books, articles, papers for each class?

Before we get any further into the semester (and before you get behind in your reading!), plan to join us for this week’s Study Skills Seminar,

Read and Remember!

Wednesday, February 1 at 6 pm

Thursday, February 2 at 4 pm

Lightsey Center 344

Snacks served!

where we will address the above issues and more! You will learn how to break down your reading into manageable ‘chunks’ and budget time for reading, how to read for retention using active, instead of passive, reading strategies, and how to maximize your reading time with a ‘Preview-Read-Break-Quiz’ method. All of these tips and strategies are designed to help you make academic reading a part of your normal daily routine!

I hope to see you this week!
