Submission of Transcript Requests and the Holiday Break:

The College of Charleston will be closed for the Holiday Break from December 22, 2011 until January 3, 2012.  Our last day in the office will be Wednesday December 21, 2011.  All Transcript Requests must be submitted to the Registrar by the end of business on Friday December 16, 2011 in order to ensure the transcripts are mailed before the end of the year. Please note that transcript requests received after this date will still be processed in the usual first come, first serve basis—therefore it is not guaranteed that all requests submitted after the 16th will be mailed prior to leaving for the holiday break as the processing time is 2-5 business days for all requests.  Please plan accordingly to meet deadline(s).

GRADES:

Undergraduate Academic Services: http://undergrad.cofc.edu/

Students enrolled at the College of Charleston must earn a minimum grade point average (GPA) to avoid being placed on academic probation. These requirements are on a sliding scale based upon the total number of credit hours earned by the student.

Credits Earned GPA Required

20-59 1.80
60 and up 2.0

If a student’s cumulative GPA at the end of any semester meets the minimum requirement as listed above, but is below 2.0, then the student will be placed on academic warning. If a student’s cumulative GPA at the end of any semester is less than minimum listed above they will be placed on academic probation.
