Darius Goes West Screening
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff:
I am writing to encourage you to attend a free screening of Darius Goes West, an award-winning documentary about Darius Weems, a teenager from Georgia with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). The 2007 documentary, which chronicles Darius’ trip to the west coast with friends, will be shown in Sottile Theatre on Thursday, November 17, at 7 p.m.
Darius and several members of the cast will be in attendance and will conduct a Q&A session following the screening. Donations to DMD research will be accepted.
