Center for Student Learning Study Skill Seminar
The beginning of the semester is a great time to get organized and manage your time—but as the semester gets busier it gets harder to keep up! At this week’s Study Skills Seminar (the first of the semester)
Time Out!
Wednesday, 8.31 at 6 pm; Lightsey Center 344
Thursday, 9.1 at 4 pm; LCTR 344
Friday, 9.2 at 12 noon; Center for Student Learning, Addlestone Library
Snacks served!
we’ll identify some of the problems that lead to poor time management (and ways to avoid/correct them), learn ways to set and keep reasonable, do-able goals, and discuss strategies for creating an easy-to-use, inexpensive (read: free!) time and self-management system.
All students—first year through fifth!—will pick up some practical skills during this 30 minute session that you can implement immediately! I hope to see you this week!
