We would like to invite everyone out to an open forum to discuss each
others’ beliefs and thought about who Jesus is. This is not an
opportunity to attack each others’ thoughts and religions but simply a
way to ask and answer questions each of us might have. It doesn’t matter
who you are or what you believe because all are welcome.
ORDER OF OMEGA – GREEK HONOR SOCIETY SEEKS APPLICATIONS
The Xi Delta Chapter of the Order of Omega is currently seeking applications for membership. The Order of Omega is a national Greek Honor Society, aimed at recognizing leaders within the Greek community. Members are chosen based on their commitment to scholarship, leadership, and service within the College of Charleston and Greek Communities.
Order of Omega applications are now available! To qualify for the Global Scholar (GS) designation, students must have a 3.0 g.p.a, demonstrate foreign language proficiency, incorporate international/global courses and extracurricular activities into their academic studies, and complete a study, work or service learning experience abroad. Students seeking the GS designation will also be required to participate in a mentorship program.

Free Theatre for CofC Students at Sottile Theater
The College of Charleston Black Student Union in association with Breaking the Wall Productions present “The Further Adventures of Gussie Mae in America.” Written and performed by NYC-based Letitia Guillory “The Further Adventures of Gussie Mae in America” is a one-woman tour-de-force that deftly weaves razor-sharp characterizations, original poetry, music and movement. The show is a testament to poor Black women in America and pays tribute to their endurance, strength and faith. It is directed by College of Charleston senior Jeffery Jelks with movement by Asma Feyijinmi and music by Marvin J. Sewell and Stew Cutler.
The show is scheduled for one performance only on Friday, October 30th at the College of Charleston Sottile Theatre 44 George Street. Showtime is 7pm. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at www.breakingthewallproductions.com . Free admission for CofC students. For information call 843-853-8969.

The High Ropes Course is a safe activity that allows individuals a chance to tackle what appears to be very challenging obstacles while 35 feet high in the air. You will start with the Wall Climb, followed by the Burma Bridge, Postman’s Walk, the dreaded Grapevines, the Catwalk, and finally whisked away on the 250-foot Zip Line to the finish.
No previous climbing experience is necessary.

President Benson’s executive team is made up of Executive Vice Presidents Steve Osborne, Beverly Diamond, Michael Haskins, George Watt, and Dean Cabot who will be representing Victor Wilson. This hour and a half will be spent fielding questions from the audience as well as answering questions that have been sent in prior to the event.

that donates leftover Halloween Candy to local cancer foundations. Candy
will be donated to the Hope Lodge for Cancer Patients as well as MUSC
Children’s Hospital. So, Please send any leftover Halloween candy our
way! There will be collection boxes located in all residence halls, and
you can drop off candy at the Sig Delt house (15 St Philip) if needed.
