New Styles
We have added a few additional global styles – thumbnail, intro paragraph and pull quote – to assist with formatting content within the CMS. See my earlier post on applying a class to an element.
.imgborder
The .imgborder CSS class will add padding and a faint border around any image contained within the main content area as seen here:
NOTE: If the .imgborder class is used, make sure that the image is not also using a <p> tag or the photo will appear with additional padding on the left and right sides as demonstrated below:
.intropara
Many times, it may be necessary to provide a different font treatment for the opening paragraph to entice the user to read the article. This is the purpose of the .intropara class.
NOTE: The class should not be overused thus defeating the purpose of the style.
.pullquote
The .pullquote style may also be used to highlight a key topic or entice the reader into the article. The .pullquote style will provide an alternate font color, size, line height with horizontal lines to distinguish between the pull quote and the main content.
NOTE: As with the .intropara style, the .pullquote should not be overused within an article.
