Student Research Nationally Recognized

Angelina Phebus, a senior AB classics major, was awarded first runner-up overall in the poster session at the annual meeting of the Archaeological Institute of America – one of the top two professional associations for Classics in North America.  This is especially praiseworthy given the fact that her work was judged within the overall category.  Her research (Analyzing Bronze Age Terrestrial and Marine Communication Routes in the Saronic Gulf and Argolid), co-authored by J. Newhard and N. Levine, was praised for its organized layout, clarity of discussion, and importance of her research.
