Professor Mark P. Del Mastro, Chair and Professor of Hispanic Studies, has accepted an invitation by the S.C. Department of Education to be the first speaker in a webinar lecture series entitled “Opening the World with Language” that will air on December 8 to high school and college students across the Palmetto State.  The virtual lecture series is organized by the South Carolina Virtual School Program Office of eLearning Division of School Effectiveness.  Professor Del Mastro’s presentation is entitled “Languages and Your Future: Myths and Realities.”
