TLT Summer Series Training Schedule

Teaching, Learning and Technology, TLT, is excited to announce that the TLT Summer Blockbuster Training Series has begun. TLT will offer a summer packed full of training (80+ sessions) on a wide variety of educational technology tools, including but not limited to VoiceThread, Polleverywhere, Kaltura, OAKS, iPad apps and more!

Project Management Training

In an effort to further develop a culture of project management both within IT and at the College, Information Technology invited Mr. Dan Furlong from PM One to provide a “high level”  introduction to project management using PMI standards. IT also invited other departments on campus to participate in the workshop such as Procurement, Human Resources, Registrar’s Office, School of Education, Health and Human Performance, and Institutional Advancement. Twenty-eight College staff participated in the training held on November 12th and 13, 2013.  The jam-packed days covered content such as project management terms, fundamentals, framework and the project life cycle. On Day two, the team reviewed the knowledge and skills learned and applied them to a case study.

Classroom Training

If you are interested in learning how to operate the equipment (such as the how to project the materials displayed on the classroom computer or your laptop,  or how to use an Elmo), please register for the training sessions offered by Teaching, Learning and Technology within the Division of Information Technology.

When:
Thursday, August 11th, starts at 10:00am
Friday, August 12th, starts at 9:00am
Monday, August 15th, starts at 10:00am
Friday, August 19th, starts at 2:00pm

The sessions will probably last 20-40 min.

Beatty 320, School of Business Building
