In our continued efforts to strengthen account security, the Division of Information Technology has implemented two important changes to passwords. These changes apply to, but are not limited to, MyCharleston, Microsoft O365, and Google accounts.
- Password expiration has been extended. You will now only be prompted to change your password every 450 days.
- The maximum password length is now 99 characters, giving you the opportunity to use a long passphrase (a series of random words or a sentence).
