OVERVIEW: On Monday, September 21, at 8:00AM through 9:00 AM, Information Technology will be adding the new password recovery functionality to MyCharleston.  Access to the MyCharleston portal will be unavailable during this maintenance window.

The password recovery functionality implements a self-service capability that will allow you, if you forget your Cougars password, to recover it yourself by answering a series of questions. You will no longer need to contact Helpdesk to recover or reset your Cougars password. This new functionality also improves the security of the password recovery process.

When you first log into MyCharleston, following this outage, you’ll be asked to provide answers to eight questions that will be used to confirm your identity when you need to recover your password.

During this outage, you can access the following applications through the direct links listed below:

  • To access OAKS directly, please visit cofc.edu.  Login with your Cougars username and password.
  • To access Community forums directly, please visit cofc.edu.  Login with your Cougars username and password.
  • To access Cmail directly, please visit g.cofc.edu.  Students login with your Cmail username and password.
  • To access Course-Instructor Evaluations, please visit cofc.edu.  Login with your Cougars username and password.
  • To access Outlook Web Access 2010 directly, please visit cofc.edu.  Login with your Cougars username and password.
  • To access Touchnet Parent Portal, please visit Touchnet.  Login with your Cougars username and password.
