The College’s content management system (Cascade Server) will be out of service for upgrade maintenance starting at midnight on Thursday, February 6, 2014. Service should be restored Friday morning around 7:30 am. The College’s website will remain available; however site managers will not be able to edit or post new content during the outage.
What is being done?
Information Technology is upgrading the database for Cascade Server to Microsoft SQL Server 2012. At the same time we will be making a copy of the database to create a test environment for the content management system. The result will be increased performance, and the creation of a testing environment for site managers.
What do you need to do?
Please make any necessary updates to your web content before the outage and then be sure to logout of the content management system by 11:59 pm Thursday, February 6.
