ATTEND AN INFORMATIONAL SESSION HOSTED BY IT:
IT will be hosting an informational session on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 2:00 – 3:00PM in the Robert Scott Small Building room 131. We encourage you to send a designee from each office affected to learn more about the scheduled service disruption and possible alternatives for you to conduct your work in the absence of IT network services.
CONTACT IT FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE:
IT is happy to work with your office to discuss possible alternatives during the scheduled service disruption. To ensure that IT can help meet your needs in a timely manner, please contact the Information Technology Helpdesk at (843) 953-3375 or by emailing Helpdesk@cofc.edu by November 25th, 2013.
This service disruption is a result of a Physical Plant project that requires the relocation of IT networking equipment. IT Network Engineering will install new fiber optic cable within Randolph Hall. The installation of fiber optic cable to a new location within the building will facilitate the space necessary for Physical Plant’s upgrade of Randolph Hall’s power distribution system.
