New Faces in IT

There are a few new faces in IT this semester! Please help us welcome…

Jamie Kingston is IT’s new Financial Coordinator as of June, 2013.  He is also finishing up a dual accreditation for his Masters in Public Administration and his Master’s in Environmental Studies here at the College.  Jamie balances all of this with his responsibilities as a father of 5-year old twin boys with the help of his wife of six years.

Kaitlin Woodlief is the newest member of Teaching, Learning and Technology (TLT).  Kaitlin is the Instructional Technologist for the School of Sciences and Mathematics (SSM).  Kaitlin came to us from Duke University where she received a PhD in Genetics and Genomics as well as a Certificate in Teaching College Biology.  She also has experience teaching college level science courses and conducting research.  Kaitlin’s credentials and experience make her a great fit for TLT, and will allow her to relate well to faculty in SSM.

And, in other exciting news…

Zach Hartje has been appointed Director of Teaching, Learning and Technology (TLT)! He began with the College in 2007 and has served as Assistant Director, Interim Director and now Director of TLT.  Zach also served as the Instructional Technologist for the School of Business. Please join me in congratulating Zach!

Monica Lavin is IT’s new Director of IT Communications and Customer Advocacy. She’ll be working with IT to improve two-way communication between IT and the campus. She’ll also focus on how IT can better meet the needs of faculty, staff and students. Monica will continue to serve as the Project Manager for the Classroom Technology Project which kicked off in Fall 2012.
