Scheduled Maintenance – Internet and Network Connectivity

Services Affected: Internet and Network connectivity throughout Randolph and surrounding areas
Date: Friday, October 11, 2013
Start Time: 6:00 PM
End Time: 11:30 PM

Description: On Friday, October 11, between the hours of 6:00 PM and 11:30 PM, Network Engineering will upgrade equipment within Randolph Hall. As a result, Internet and network connectivity will be unavailable in the building and surrounding areas (see complete list below). For example, computers that are connected to the Internet via an Ethernet cable or connected via the wireless network (CWWPA, cofc-secure, and cofc-guest) will not be able to access the Internet or College network during the scheduled maintenance.

  • 9 College
  • 5 College
  • Buist ­Rivers Residence Hall (Administrative and Classroom)
  • Central Energy
  • Porters Lodge
  • Sottile House
  • Towell Library
  • Wellness Center

The upgrade and replacement of aging network devices will facilitate increased bandwidth within the College network and position the necessary hardware to allow for additional network offerings in the future.
