Clubs/Organizations/Interests: Emily recently directed The Vagina Monologues and was president of the CofC chapter of the National Organization for Women. She has also held leadership roles in campus-wide organizations, such as REACH, First-Year Experience, and Leadership CofC.
As an avid reader and fan of Skirt!, I am very excited and honored to receive their scholarship. It has allowed me to explore my passions in women’s and gender studies. For example, presenting at the Southeastern Women’s Studies Association’s annual conference in April.
