Join The College Reads Program and Clint Smith, author of How the Word Is Passed: A Reckoning With the History of Slavery, for a book discussion.

The book discussion will take place on Monday, October 24 at 7 pm. This event is completely free and open to the entire CofC community.

Although it is encouraged, students do not have to have read the College Reads Book. Free copies of How the Word is Passed are available in the Lightsey Center Lobby, Education Center Lobby, Beatty Center Lobby, Rita Hollings Science Center Lobby, and the Office of New Student Programs in the Lightsey Center Annex.
