Attend a Boren Awards info session on October 19 to learn how you can earn up to $25,000 in scholarship support for language development.

The Award: Boren scholars and fellows are undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in building a career in public service by applying their language skills, cultural knowledge and academic credentials.

The benefits: Up to $25,000 in scholarships to fund undergraduate study abroad or graduate research and language study in world regions that are critical to U.S. interests and are underrepresented in typical study abroad programs.

Great fit for: Students studying a critical language (including Arabic, Mandarin, Hebrew, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian); those interested in building a career in public service by applying their language skills, cultural knowledge and academic credentials.
