Virtual Volunteer Opportunity: The Turning Leaf Project

The Turning Leaf Project is looking for virtual outreach volunteers to help promote their mission and work in the community. TLP is a non-profit in North Charleston dedicated to helping men think and act differently so they stay out of prison. The organization provides intense therapy, transitional employment in an in-house screenprinting shop, and job placements for graduates. TLP is looking for students and community members to promote the organization on their social channels and assist with tabling and in-house events. For more information and to apply, click here.

Virtual Career Center Resources

The Career Center continues to provide services to current students, recent graduates, and alumni. Below are a few highlights:

The Career Center is partnering with Parker Dewey to offer micro-internships to CofC students. Micro-internships are paid, virtual projects that can last between 5-40 hours. Parker Dewey works with thousands of employers and new projects are being added to the platform every day! Check out the new Parker Dewey landing page to learn more.

Other virtual internship opportunities are available on this resource page. We continually update this site with resources and have included a disclaimer statement for students to carefully review as they navigate their internship and job searches.
