Help with Sexual Assault Prevention Research

MUSC is looking for College of Charleston students to help us make a prevention program for alcohol and sexual assault. You will be shown some program materials and asked to give feedback. You will also be asked to take a short survey. For your time, you’ll be compensated with a $25 e-gift card.

Who: Men, women, and trans* students aged 18-25
What: A research study at MUSC to participate in a study about alcohol and sexual assault to help improve prevention

Interns needed for new downtown fitness studio

9Round Fitness is opening a new location downtown and is seeking two part-time interns. The intern should be passionate about fitness and love working out.

Each intern would work 10-20 hours per week. Pay is $10/hour plus commission. No certification is needed as existing staff will train new interns for the 9Round Kickboxing Certification.

This is an internship that could possibly be part of an Honors Immersed proposal to receive HONS credits.

Internship with Plastic Pollution Solutions

From strategic planning and change management to community engagement, Plastic Pollution Solutions advises and executes on a variety of programs, projects, campaigns, and initiatives to highlight brand solutions to the global environmental crisis of plastic pollution. Internship Description:  We are seeking a reliable, motivated individual who works well with others but is also comfortable working independently on tasks. Ideally, the candidate will have an interest in environmental conservation, sustainability or marine biology as well as a solid grasp of Excel, Powerpoint and data analysis. Experience with website development, especially Wix, is a plus. The candidate should be professional and comfortable reaching out to organizations via email or on phone/conference calls. This individual will be responsible for plastic audit data collection, organization, and metrics tracking. There will be extensive internet research to assist in conducting due diligence on products and practices that minimize single-use plastics.
