Wall Templeton & Haldrup, P.A. File Clerk Position

What: Wall Templeton & Haldrup, a law firm located in Downtown Charleston, is seeking a student for the Courier/File Clerk position at our firm. The courier is responsible for maintaining all physical and electronic files for each open matter in our office; running errands to Post Office, local and non-local courthouses, and other law firms and businesses; assisting with greeting clients and visitors; answering telephone when receptionist is out; helping with various projects for attorneys and paralegals. This is a great opportunity for students interested in going to law school, as they will get hands-on experience with legal documents and become familiar with legal terms. Full ad can be found here.
When:
This is primarily a summer position, but, upon review, may transition into a part-time job during the semester. Inquire immediately, as courier needs to go through a training period. Hours are flexible, but we are looking for someone who can work at least 2-3 weekdays every week.
Where: While we have a firm in Raleigh, NC, right now we are only looking to fill the opening at the downtown Charleston location.
Who: Students of all levels will be considered. While this is a good experience for pre-law students, all majors are welcome to apply. Applicants must have their own, reliable transportation, for errands in Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, and beyond. The firm pays for parking and mileage reimbursement.
