“Crossroads at Clarksdale: A Study in African American Leadership”

Francoise Hamlin, Hans Rothfels  Assistant Professor of History and Africana Studies at Brown University, will be speaking at AveryResearch Center on Monday, Feb 18th at 7:00 p.m. She will present research on the Civil Rights Movement in Clarksdale, Mississippi from her  book entitled Crossroads at Clarksdale: The Black Freedom Struggle in the Mississippi Delta after World War II. The History Department is co-sponsoring the talk along with African American Studies and Avery.
