The students and staff have settled back into life at the College of Charleston and now the Leadership Center is in full swing and ready to start having programs. This week alone, applications for LeadMORE and Leadership CofC are due. LeadMORE, a program for sophomores and the issues they face, will begin next week with a program about opportunities to study abroad. Also next week, Leadership CofC will be conducting interviews to select the new group of juniors and seniors who will participate before having their first event on September 30th.
The staff of the Leadership Center is also busy preparing for our annual Ann and Lee Higdon Fall Leadership Conference, which will take place at the Francis Marion Hotel on Saturday, October 23rd. Registration for this fun and free event is due Friday, October 1st.
The good news about a busy fall is that more College of Charleston students will have the opportunity to get involved in leadership centered programs and activities. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
