ALL – The College of Charleston is hosting one of many Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program sites this year on the 2nd floor of the Stern Student Center on Saturdays from 10am-2pm (starting next Saturday, January 29). This is an opportunity for ANYBODY (individual or family) making under $49,000/year to get free tax preparation services by well-trained volunteers. Many of the volunteers throughout the region are CofC students and the Stern Center site is coordinated by the College’s Beta Alpha Psi accounting students.
I have attached the schedule for all of the sites, which includes addresses, dates and times of service for anyone you may know who is interested in taking advantage of this FREE service.
